In the afternoon, you can choose either to go for horse riding, fishing or exploring the Goat Island, NZ’s most ancient marine reserve, on board the glass bottom boat. Day 2 – Visit a charming, native ocean-side garden, where you can enjoy morning tea with garden designer and creator, Liz Morrow. Afterward, visit Morris & James, New Zealand’s leading hand-made pottery factory. You will then enjoy a honey tasting and a stroll around the local village. You will enjoy a mouthwatering New Zealand lunch menu of kiwi lamb and local fish snapper. In the afternoon, it is time to traverse the local oyster farm on the shuckle ferry, for a chance to savor our tasty, luscious regional plump oysters. You will then relax at a winery with a tour and a wine tasting amid the vines.
Day 3 – Find out New Zealand’s colorful, pre-European history with a tour to Te Hana Te Ao Marama Village, where you will gain an understanding into Maori life in a fortified village (Papakainga and Pa). Afterward, you will enjoy a captivating dog show with a local farmer and sheep shearing. You will have an antipasto platter for lunch at a winery, and a tour of our regional handmade chocolate factory for a tasty sampling. 10:00 am - Depart Auckland on Fullers and sail towards Waiheke Island.
10:35 am - Arrive at Matiatia, where you will be greeted on the wharf and the tour will start with a drive along the picturesque northern route, as you admire the dramatic views of the Hauraki Gulf, all the way to the Coromandel Peninsula.
11:00 am – Tour the Stonyridge Vineyard for a wine tasting session. Stonyridge is a world-class wine producer of Cabernet blends that was established in 1982 and is the producer Larose, one of New Zealand’s cult wines. The Larose wine is available to taste for an extra charge. Here you will sample an array of their unique Waiheke wines which may include Chardonnay, Rose, Pinot Gris, Syrian blend (The Pilgrim), and Bordeaux blend (Faithful).
12:00 pm – Tour the Te Motu Vineyard. Te Motu (‘The Island’), was one of the first Waiheke wine-growing estates, the Dunleavy family planted their first vines in 1989, resulting in the production of the first ‘Te Motu’ blend in 1993. You will get a chance to sample a selection of distinctive wine varieties produced here, including an opportunity to taste their premium Te Motu.
12:45 pm – A trip to the Batch Vineyard, a towering vineyard on Waiheke Island, where its north overlooks the sun-soaked hillsides of vines that include terraces of historical and elegant Alsace-design vines, not far from the winery. This location offers you striking 360-degree views over the island stretching to the gulf islands. You will sample a range of their wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Pinot Gris and Flora. You will also try Batch Winery’s Blanc de Blancs, a sparkling wine.

9:45 am - Arrive at Matiatia, where you will be greeted on the wharf, and the tour starts with a ride along the striking northern route, where you will appreciate the spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf and extends to the Coromandel Peninsula.
10:15 am - Visit Kennedy Point Vineyard the home of certified organic Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Rosé wines. You will also sample New Zealand avocado oil, and estate–grown olive oil. The winery decks are hidden among the Pohutukawa trees overlooking Waiheke Island’s Kennedy Bay and offer an ideal setting to sample a selection of fine wines. Ananda Tours also includes some regional Te Matuku Bay Oysters and a tiny cheese board to taste with one of your wines.
11:15 am – Tour the Rangihoua Estate, home of the first olive oil in the North Island. Rangihoua’s recognized award-winning olive oils have many accolades under their name, since the first pressings. This tour will help you learn how the oil is processed and also sample an array of distinctive oils, including the Spanish-style Picual, the peppery Greek-style Koreneiki, or the Tuscan-style Frantoio, as well as other island blends. The Frantoio blend is listed by Flos Olei 2013, as one of the Top 20 Olive Oils in the world.

4:45 pm – Tour the Batch Vineyard, a towering vineyard on Waiheke Island where its north overlooks the sun-soaked hillsides of vines, including terraces of conservative and elegant Alsace-design vines adjacent to the winery. This location offers spectacular 360-degree views over the island and stretches to the gulf islands. Taste a selection of their wine, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Flora, and Pinot Gris plus Batch Winery’s exquisite wine, Blanc de Blancs.
5:40 pm - Leave Waiheke on Fullers and sail back to Auckland.
