Activity Overview
Wine school with Sara Sommelier in Verona city center, to discover the scent and taste of the most famous local wines in a lovely Italian winery. Starting with the soft bubbling Prosecco (Valdobbiadene – Treviso) that opens the palate before moving to the aromatic Lugana (South Garda Lake) or an elegant Soave (Soave – Valdalpone).

Then we taste the reds, all from the Valpolicella Classica area (west of Verona), a robust Valpolicella Superiore before sipping the Prince of Verona, the noble and intense Amarone or its famous cousin, the Ripasso, for those who prefer less intense alcoholic content.

Enjoy the tasting everyone! Rise your glass, Cin Cin.

Valeggio Sul Mincio, Veneto, Italy
1 Day
We wish to suggest a very special day to discover one of the most beautiful Garden Park in Europe, and the opportunity to taste excellent local food during lunch.... more

Reach from Milan by train Peschiera del Garda and by taxi the Sigurtà Park and Garden, located at Valeggio sul Mincio, 15 minute drive from Peschiera del Garda. The park covers an area of 600,000 square meters; it is the result of 40 years of loving care of its owner, Carlo Sigurtà, who took advantage of the water-drawing rights from the river Mincio to achieve the "prodigious" feat of turning an arid hill into a flourishing green garden, regarded as one of the most extraordinary of its kind anywhere in the world.
The visit to Sigurtà Park and Garden is a wonderful experience in an oasis of peace and serenity. A blaze of scents and colors, a delight for your eyes and for your spirit in one of the most beautiful corners of Italy. You can discover the park on foot, on the small train or by minicart, stopping at the attractions which enchant you most: the Avenue of Roses, the labyrinth, the water gardens, medicinal plants, the large turf and the great number of blooms that color the park in all seasons.

At lunch you will taste the famous tortellino di Valeggio, still handmade by skillful ladies who knot a thin layer of pasta in memory of the thwarted love between the nymph Silvia and Captain Malco.

You cannot miss a pleasant walk to Borghetto to admire the Visconteo Bridge, an extraordinary fortified dam, and the water mills with their huge wheels that seem to caress the river.

For nature lovers, a visit to one of the most beautiful park and garden in Europe

For food lovers, an excelent lunch with the typical Tortellini

A very special day for everybody
