Activity Overview
We invite you to join us and get a chance to visit 2 of the most popular wine Valleys in Chile to discover its wine. We start the day by visiting Maipo valley, for a chance to taste one the most excellent wines of Chile: Almaviva wine, a blend between Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Viña Concha y Toro, an excellent combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Carménère. This winery is situated in Maipo Alto valley one of the finest terroirs in Chile. We'll then proceed towards the direction of the Pacific Ocean to sample the whites and reds of the chilly weather of the Casablanca Valley. We'll also tour Kingston vineyards, to taste their Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Syrah. This one day tour is designed to offer a unique experience. This winery tour concludes in a resort adjacent to Casablanca. This one day experience will see you explore from the Andes Mountains to the Pacific Ocean.
You'll enjoy some free time for photos, on the way to Santiago de Chile. Kindly note: Almaviva is opened from Monday to Friday only. Depending on the guests' interests, you can select another winery. We prefer the Maipo valley where you can visit the Aquitania winery, Concha y Toro winery, as well as Cousiño Macul, De Martino, Perez Cruz, and Undurraga.

Wonderful tour in Santiago region
Our hotel organised this tour with Patricia after we told them what interested us. My husband and I loved our day with Patricia tasting wine and exploring Valparaiso. Her knowledge of the city was amazing and we saw many really interesting and hidden parts of this exciting and energetic city. The winery she took us to was very good indeed and our lunch at the restaurant she suggested was equally good. ... more Patricia is very knowledgeable about Chilean society, both contemporary and in the past, its history, politics and geography. We both felt that it was a great day of tourism. Thankyou Patricia and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

One of the country’s most famous wine regions, the Colchagua Valley, set in the heart of the Central Valley 100 miles (160 kilometers) from Santiago, is the epicenter of wine ... moreproduction in Chile. Production started here shortly after the Spanish conquest in the mid-16th century with the introduction of vineyards by Jesuit missionaries. The mining boom of the late 19th century brought wealth and noble grapes of French origin. The area is known for its award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Syrah and Carmenere. After a three-hour drive to Santa Cruz, the region’s capital, we first stop at Viña Santa Cruz. Here you will see the place where the Body connects with the Soul. Begin your tour by conquering the Body: In the garden of varieties you will learn how to differentiate their strains, then you will continue to their winery to learn about the wine-making process and enjoy the tasting of three of their exclusive wines. Then you will know the Soul by using the cable car to appreciate the most amazing views on your way to Cerro El Chaman. There, you will learn firsthand how the Aymara culture, Mapuche and Rapa Nui lived in harmony with nature and their environment through their rituals and beliefs, but especially, you will meet their guides Machi and Chaman, the inspiration behind their wines. After Santa Cruz Vineyard, we will go to a local countryside restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Viu Manent Vineyard, a model for wine tourism in Chile. Climb aboard a horse-drawn carriage for a remarkable experience visiting the historic Malbec Hall, gardens, and wine cellars. Explore the wine shop and handicraft emporium. The visit ends with a tasting of the vineyard’s best wines. Internationally renowned for the quality of its wines, Viu Manent is particularly famous for its Malbec.
