Activity Overview
This food and wine tour will allow you to delight in award-winning olive oil, succulent fresh oysters, and other locally-produced specialty foods, paired with wines from some of the Island’s leading boutique vineyards. Your guide will offer an amusing and forthcoming commentary along the way.
This tour takes you to an award-winning olive oil mill, followed by two vineyards, for a selection of gourmet delights to complement the wines. Taste wild honey, artisan cheeses, freshly caught oysters direct from the Te Matuku Bay, and the popular regional green herb spread. The itinerary for Saturdays may also include a visit to the Waiheke Market.
Afterward, you can enjoy a platter lunch at one of our finest vineyard restaurants. Lunch will be followed by a return transfer back to the ferry back to Auckland, or to your accommodation.

For the day tour of a lifetime - catch the 10 am ferry from downtown Auckland and our sociable host will be waiting to welcome you as you disembark.
The tour will commence immediately and you'll have the chance to enjoy jaw-dropping landscape around every corner accompanied by an enthusiastic recount on the island's early history and life on the island up to date. We normally book our three vineyards in advance each day and ardent hosts will be eagerly waiting to welcome you, ready to recount their wealth and depth of expertise about our excellent wine industry. You'll get the chance to sample 15 very unique wines and enjoy either breads, small tapas, olive oils, and cheese depending on the vineyard.
