The first stop will be in Aveiro. Here we will take a walk around the city famous for its canals and typical boats, but also for Art Noveau and local pastries.

Sonoma, California, United States
“Wine is made in the vineyard, not the winery, as most winemakers acknowledge. Travelers can get out among cordons and clusters – maybe even nibble the new vintage right from the vine ... more– with the Sonoma Wine & Walking Tour…” – Wine Enthusiast
As a company and personally, we love Sonoma County and have been running tours to Sonoma for many years. On this tour, meet other wine lovers and like-minded people. On a small group tour, you have the opportunity to meet other people who have the same interests – travel, culture, food, and wine! You may even meet your next travel partner!
Sonoma's beauty comes from its diversity, ranging from 60 miles of Pacific coastline on the west to the Mayacamas Mountain on the eastern edge of Napa County; from the large expanses of rural fields including vineyards to quaint small towns, such as Geyserville and Healdsburg, where we base our trip. Sonoma County is also incredibly laid-back given the intensely successful nature of its tourism and wine industries.
Explore this wonderful and colorful wine region in an intimate and truly special way on our 3-day Sonoma Wine & Walking Tour. Having the opportunity to walk through the vineyards allows for you to have a much more intimate experience than if you would do this tour by car. Personally experience the winemakers’ personalities as they offer you a rich education in (and a better understanding of) the wine-making process, the local flora, and fauna, the views from a nearby ridge top, or even lunch among the vines – all experiences you wouldn’t have from the back seat of a car. This unique Sonoma County Vineyard Walk 3-day excursion includes a personal guide that will take you on invigorating walks through private vineyards, with each excursion ending in a local wine tasting.
TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 Depending on how and when you arrive in the area, our guide will meet you at 1:00 pm either at the Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa or our host hotel, whichever is more convenient for you.
From there, we’ll head straight to our first vineyard walk and wine tasting in the Russian River Valley. This AVA is named after the first non-native settlers to come to the area and has a rich history as many consider it the birthplace of Sonoma County wine because the first grapes were planted here. The Russian River Valley is known for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as other cool-climate loving varietals.
After our walk and tasting, we will check into our hotel, if you haven’t done so already. If there is time prior to dinner, we recommend visiting one of the local tasting rooms. This evening we’ll enjoy a casual, but delicious dinner in the area.
DAY 2 Today, we’ll discover the picturesque Dry Creek Valley. This AVA produces a wide variety of excellent wines but is best known for their world-class zinfandels. Its diversity is due to the unique mix of different soil types, elevations, sun exposure, wind, and water – all within a narrow 16-by-2-mile valley. We’ll head out for our walk to explore another stunning vineyard and cap it off with a lovely wine tasting.
We recommend having lunch at the iconic Dry Creek General Store that was established in 1881 and offers a tasty variety of sustainably-made food. This afternoon, we’ll head to our second wine tasting of the day. If you have a specific place you’d like to visit, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Later, we’ll enjoy dinner at one of the world-class restaurants in the area.
DAY 3 On our last day together, we’ll meet after breakfast to head out for our last vineyard walk. After a couple scenic miles on foot, we’ll arrive at our final wine tasting of the tour. Afterward, we’ll head back to the hotel to check out. We’ll say our farewells and shuttle you back to the Santa Rosa airport or leave you to extend your stay in the area.
TOUR ACCOMMODATIONS The Dry Creek Inn is a Tuscan-style getaway conveniently located in the northern part of Sonoma County, just outside of Healdsburg’s downtown area. Relaxing by the outdoor firepits, or lounging poolside with a glass of wine in hand, it is the perfect place to unwind from a busy day and your big city concerns.
*Please note: Hotels are subject to availability. If the listed hotel is not available at the time of the tour, a hotel that is equal or better to the original will be secured.
Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
Looking for a day filled with Gothic and Modernist art, architecture, astounding rock formations, unbeatable views and exceptional food and wine tasting - look no further! ... more
Our Montserrat and Wine Country day tour is a well-rounded, all-inclusive, all-day experience for travelers of all ages and interest levels. The day begins with a guided visit at the impressive Monastery of Montserrat, located 50 minutes west of Barcelona and standing at an unexpected 725 mts. / 2378 ft. above sea level.
This tour consists of a 1000 years of legend, history and culture. Legend has it that in the 9th century, shepherds claimed to have spotted the image of the black Madonna in a cave on Montserrat. The original carving was discovered and removed by local religious figures, and the first church, followed by the monastery, were established in the 11th century. By the 12th century, news spread far and wide of the miracles of Montserrat. The monastic community settled, which prompted pilgrims from around the world to flock to the sacred mountain, as they still do today. The Monastery of the Virgin was founded in 1025, reconstructed various times, destroyed by Napoleon in 1811 and rebuilt in the late 19th and early 20th century by the Catalan Modernist masters, including Gaudí, himself. It is, in fact, one of the key inspirations to Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia.
The day includes: hearing the famous Boys’ Choir perform (most days), visiting the “Moreneta de Montserrat” (one of the black Madonnas of Europe) and a light walk to Santa Cova, where the black Madonna is said to have originally been found and rescued. We leave Montserrat and head over to enjoy a fantastic lunch of local Catalan country cuisine in a traditional restaurant at the base of Montserrat, followed by private field tour, guided exclusive visit and three-product wine and cava tasting at one of the premier, small, boutique vineyards in the Penedès wine region.
Montserrat and Wine Country Day Tour consist of only 2-8 guests and are guided by one of our fun, informative guides who give you a great, detailed explanation of the history of Montserrat, as well as the history of the region of Catalunya. The tour can easily be catered to both young and old, to those with or without specific religious interest, and to both wine connoisseurs and wine ‘enthusiasts’. A truly fantastic and authentic day trip outside of the city during your visit to Barcelona!
Important There will be a surcharge of 15 EUR / person if you end up being the only two clients on any non-private tour. Although this is not likely (especially between April and October), it would be necessary in order to cover guide fees and other costs that would normally be covered by having more than two clients on the tour. The positive side of the supplement is that you would end up getting a private tour at a fraction of the normal private touring price!

Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
Hit the surf in the morning and spend your afternoon enjoying great South African wine! This is definity an epic way to see the Cape Stock and make gnarly memories!... more
Start your day with an invigorating surf* at the famous Surfers Corner on Muizenberg beach, where the shore of the Cape Peninsula curves round to the east on the False Bay coast. It’s considered the birthplace of South African surfing, and the endless waves are perfect for beginners and seasoned pro’s alike. Once you’ve nailed your first barrel, you’ll head down the scenic coastal route to the quaint, seaside fishing village of Kalk Bay. Stop here for a stroll through town and pick one of the locals cafe’s, kick back and satisfy your hunger after your surf. After an early lunch you can explore the awesome little galleries, shops and antique stores that make Kalk Bay so unique. Hands down one of the best places in Cape Town to take photo’s.
After hanging out with the locals in Kalk Bay, you’ll take a drive to Cape Point Vineyards for some wine tasting with an awesome view of Noordhoek beach, another surfers paradise. The winemaker at Cape Point Vineyards, also a surfer (he came second in last years Vintners Surf Classic), may be able to give you some insiders tips on where the best surf spots are. When you’ve had enough of the view, cruise the famous Chapman’s Peak Drive – from here you’ll be able to see Dungeons, the infamous big wave spot where the Red Bull Big Wave Africa competition is held every year. Gnarly.
Had enough of the view yet? Next you’ll check out the Mariners Wharf in Hout Bay, another cool local offering where the seals are friendly and the locals always welcoming. If you’re lucky, the dolphins will be surfing in the waves and the whales frolicking in the bay. From Hout Bay you’ll wind your way over to Beau Constantia where the view of False bay is second to none. The farm is high up the slopes of Constantia Nek, overlooking False Bay to the east with vineyards stretching to 350m above the very waves you surfed that very morning. Best views of the Constantia Valley.
