Activity Overview
The capital city of Tuscany and birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence is a terracotta tiled architectural marvel of a city. However, with the city also being something of a gastronomic and delicatessen sensation, Florence food tours are a must for any serious food lover.

Join us as we take in the inspiring sights of Florence as part of our guided sightseeing and authentic local food tasting tour. Our Florence food walking tour always starts in one of Florence’s charming local bars where we kick start the day with an authentic Italian Coffee tasting experience.

Committed to small group sizes, we then adventure out into Florence’s main fashion district and start sampling the city morsel by morsel. From mouthwatering truffle sandwiches to artisan breads, cheeses, salami, wine, and a variety of seasonal specialties, our Florence food tours are designed to dazzle the senses and introduce non-residents to the cities unique flavors and aromas.

Stopping to sample the San Lorenzo Market, Florence’s oldest, our guides help you select and taste as wide as possible a variety of local dishes including local Tuscan savory masterpieces.

Visiting authentic wine shops, local sommeliers will explain the secret behind local wine colors, perfumes and the local art of basic viticulture and wine making itself.

As part of our Florence food walking tour grand finale, we will later finish with a desert of authentic Florentine gelato. A sweet sensation dating back to Roman times when snow would be brought down from local mountains, local legend has it that Florence itself first gave rise to modern ice cream.

If you are visiting Florence, our local food tours are the perfect way to absorb yourself in the history and culture of this spectacular city. In this case, make sure not to miss out and book today!

Our Food Tour is enjoined by vegetarians and children too. Children 4-10 years old can receive 50% off.

Greve In Chianti, Tuscany, Italy
Duration:
10 H
We'll leave Florence by a 4WD air-conditioned vehicle for this once-in-a-lifetime food and wine experience in Chianti. During the drive, our professional tour guide will introduce ... moreyou to the local wines and food products. You'll get the chance to take in the remarkable landscapes, ancient villages, and stunning views.

Our first stop in Chianti will be at the estate of one of the oldest Italian aristocratic families. The estate's property boasts a Renaissance villa that extends for approximately 250 hectares in the heart of the Chianti Classico. You'll explore the underground cellars designed in the 17th century and also enjoy an olive oil and wine tasting.

We'll take you through a picturesque route through the prettiest landscape in Chianti with the cypress-covered hills or along the crest of a ridge, scattered farmhouses, charming ancient villages everywhere, castles, olive gardens, and vineyards. We'll then take you to a typical Tuscan trattoria for a tasty gourmet lunch in conformity to traditional recipes made with simple, good, fresh ingredients. The Tuscan food may be simple, but it has a rich flavor, is very hearty and filling!

In the afternoon, we'll visit the most celebrated Chianti village: Greve, for its unique atmosphere, crafts shops, and delicious flavors! Here you'll enjoy some free time for private investigation and shopping. We'll also take you to the most famous butcher in Italy then proceed to our second winery.

The last estate that we'll visit is situated in a land rich in clays and limestone. These soils are ideal for olive trees and vines. The vines cover an entire hill while the cellar is set within an ancient hamlet. This last visit will prove to be the ideal way to conclude an amazing Chianti Food & Wine Tour!
