Activity Overview
Sydney is a charming and vibrant city, however, at times we need to escape to nature, to relax and revitalize. We invite you to come and spend a day, where you will have fun in the Royal National Park, which is situated just an hour’s drive south of Sydney.
Coast Warriors will pick you up from one of our central locations and drive you out down to the Royal National Park. On the way, we break at a supermarket, to allow you load up on breakfast, drinks, snacks for the road, and any beach supplies that you may require, in case you have left them behind. We will jump back on the bus, on our way to the scenic Wattamolla Beach. This beach is the locals' secret treasure, obscured in the middle of a dense bushland, that we have frequented from a young age. Wattamolla beach can be perfectly described as a slice of Australian delight, where the bush converges with the beach. The region boasts 10m tall cliffs, and relaxed lagoon, where you can swim. The area is also renowned for its charming, and vast main beach, all of which offers you a remarkable experience. In addition to swimming in the lagoon, strolling along the main beach, and toasting in the sun, you can also enjoy a whack in either beach cricket or beach soccer. At Wattamolla, we pride in preparing quality Aussie BBQ, which we deliver to your waterside, like a team of rustic, Australian beach battlers. This experience will make you forget about your regular nutritionally baron, two-minute noodle dish. You will load up on sausages, roo, and vegetables, as you slowly roast yourselves on the sand.
After lunch, we proceed on a stroll to an adjacent Providential Point lookout for some stunning, panoramic pictures of the coastline, with the chance of spotting a distant whale or two, if we are lucky. We then head onto Bald Hill Headland Reserve, Australia’s most popular para, and hang-gliding spot. It features some remarkably spectacular views overlooking the sea cliff bridge and the Stanwell Park.
Here we swing beyond the Bundeena final views of the Port Hacking, distant views of Sydney city and Cronulla coastline. Finally, we will begin our journey back to Sydney City via the winding roads and scenic bushland.
Once we return to Sydney, we get the chance to chill and enjoy a free drink and free food at a bar at the drop off location.
Kindly ensure to bring with you a towel, sunscreen, drinking water, closed shoes, your camera, and smiles!
Practical information
The Royal National park is also the home of the Figure 8 pool, It is a naturally formed rock pool that is in a perfect figure 8 shape. We do not go there on our Royal National Park tour because the walk is 3.5 hour return hike of relentless enfeeblement and we are far too lazy. We are chilled travel not sweaty travel !!!

I would definitely recommend this tour
I have done multiple tours along the East Coast and this was definitely one of my favourites. I lost my way in the morning so I got everyone off to a late start, but am so happy they waited for me! The stops with the views were perfect photo opportunities (I've never come back from a tour with so many amazing pics with myself in them!), loved the little hike we took down to the waterfalls, delicious ... more BBQ, great atmosphere and fun times on the bus. Didn't feel like a tour, felt like a day out on the road with friends where one of them was a local that owned a van 😃I would definitely recommend this tour for a great day with a local guide, to make new friends, see gorgeous sites and just have a great time!

Coast Warriors invites you to Hunter Valley Wine Tour. This tour is specially designed for the backpacker, younger demographic adults, and students. We have formulated an itinerary ... morethat we feel is ideal for our targeted clientele. This plan enables us to roll on all our day trips!
The tour kicks off from Kings Cross area and proceeds to the city pickup which serves all the city hostels and hotels. We then head over to Sydney Harbor Bridge, to an extra pickup at Chatswood, before progressing to a wild kangaroo break, halfway to the Hunter. Ensure to bring your camera!
Afterward, we will load back into the banter bus, and head further north to Hunter Valley where we visit the wineries. Here we tour a cool winery where we can discover all things to do with WINE, you will also enjoy some tasting sessions to complement our new discovery. We then progress to a nearby BBQ area, for a bit of fun as we collectively prepare an all Aussie BBQ. I will train you how to prepare kangaroo since this tour caters for all dietary needs. Kindly ensure to indicate at your booking. Lunch will be followed by dessert, so we proceed over to the adjacent CHOCOLATE SHOP, and if that is not your jam, right next door is the CHEESE SHOP!
We then head to another winery where we can taste extra Hunter Valleys finest. We then progress to an excellent organic vodka, schnapps ‘n’ gin distillery for some tasting sessions. Here you will get a chance to take away some unique cool pre-drinks to your hostel, that will make you stand out from the crowd!
At the end of the trip, we will all be feeling happy as we head back to Sydney, flying on economy class Coast Warriors Air, back to Sydney landing at a number of toilets for the standard Toilet Warriors. We conclude the day at a cool bar, just close to the central train and bus stations.
Come and join us, as we enjoy an adventurous day full of fun!
