We did the the bodegas last Friday. I would thoroughly recommend this, our guide was very knowledgeable and we visited 3 different wineries, each with their own little personality. The tapas was delicous, we had a super relaxing time, great, friendly atmosphere. We also did the 3 volcano trip today, amazing. Well thought out, with a geologist accompanying us, a great way to see the real Lanzarote.
Overall Experience
I went on a vineyard tour, and as a wine novice enjoyed learning to understand my own tastes! We were collected by the wonderful Jose from our hotel, and Ed led the tour around 3 vineyards. We tasted 9 wines in total, as well as the wine that flowed at lunch!

Ethnography of Lanzarote This will be a chance to learn and understand the practices behind the success of Lanzarote’s agricultural sector. We will learn about the uniqueness of Lanzarote’s ... moreproducts, cultivation and how the transformation happens, from the past to modern practices. Our tour will include:

We will tour one of Lanzarote’s artisanal cheese makers. Here, we will have a firsthand experience of the famed goat cheese making process. That will be followed by a tasting episode of some of the goat cheeses of Lanzarote.

We will visit the vineyards of the unique La Geria landscape and see how the locals dig holes in the volcanic ash to plant the Malvasia grapes and other grape varieties. A traditional wine cellar will serve as our classroom as we experience the winemaking process while we taste at least four wines, accompanied by a variety of cheeses.

Besides visiting the vineyards of La Geria, we will get a chance to visit other cultivation styles like the Jable and the sanded. We will learn how locals have adopted the land into productive sweet potato farms, despite hardly having any rains all year round.

A visit to a mid-nineteenth century agricultural estate will enlighten us on the agriculture, storage, milling, drying, water channeling and storage, and transportation vessels of our ancestors.

Welcome to the first and only craft beer tour in Lanzarote! This tour will take you behind the scenes of two state of the art local Lanzarote craft breweries. You will sample 7 fantastic ... morebeers, accompanied by delicious local snacks and tapas at each visit.

On this fun and informal tour, we’ll talk about the history, ingredients, process and some of the more common beer styles … and the best part, you’ll get to try them all!

This craft beer tour is also a great way to see some of the Island’s unique and spectacular architecture, part of what we label the “Real” Lanzarote. Our first stop is Los Aljiibes, in one of Cesar Manrique’s stunning, hidden secrets, before ending up in Cerveza NAO, a converted warehouse once used by the thriving fishing industry, in the capital, Arrecife.

All transport is included within the price, but we suggest to stay in the Arrecife area after the tour has finished - it's worth it! The last brewery is situated just around the corner from El Charco. This is a lively up and coming area running around the ancient harbour, with plenty of tapas bars and places to enjoy a typical Lanzarote night out, local style.
