Activity Overview
We begin our wine tour, heading towards the wine growing region of Spain, El Penedes, it is home to several esteemed vineyards locally known as “cellars.” We will also learn about Cava, a high-quality sparkling wine as you discover one of the finest bodegas in Spain.

We will tour one of this two vineyards:

We visit the oldest bodega in Spain, which has a history of more than 450 years. Here, we will explore the vast underground cellars and get amazed by the outstanding modern design used.

Alternatively, we can visit a family owned winery and learn the culture of the local families living in this wine growing area. One family member will explain why this winery is based on organic agricultural practice and guide us on the wine production, from the pressing of the grapes to the fermentation in the cellars.
Afterwards, we will have a chance to taste the wine to understand why this region has gained substantial international fame.
