Activity Overview
The best way to unwind and enjoy the beautiful views of Douro Valley is by sailing a private boat along the Douro River. Relax as you cruise past the curved ridges that create the World Heritage landscape of the Douro Valley wine estates. One this excursion will taste locally processed wine perfectly matched with a delicious lunch. Once on board, relax and enjoy the beautiful vicinity of the Douro wine region as we sail towards the picturesque village of Pinhão. We alight here to visit a local winery and delight in a guided wine tasting while viewing the spectacular river.
Afterwards, we embark on the boat to appreciate the landscape scenes as we enjoy an appealing lunch that includes; cod quiche, vegetable quiche, selection of local cheeses, cod fritters, salad, sardine omelette, stuffed eggs, lamego cake, traditional apple preserve, fruit, bread, accompanied by wine and water.
