We’ll all meet at the Palma bus station and then proceed to the village of Epsorles; one of the scenic spots in the area. Here, will stroll around picking the herbs to make the Heirbas liquor.
Some herbs are not easy to find. Hence, we’ll have to visit some locals and get the herbs from them. You’ll love the encounter with the locals in Mallorca. Upon getting the herbs, we’ll assemble on the guide’s patio to start the preparation. He’ll take you through the making process. Later, we’ll have some snack as we mingle and enjoy the sunset in Spain. Interestingly, the Heirbas won’t be ready yet. So you won’t taste what you’ve brewed just yet. However, you’ll have the opportunity to taste some that were earlier prepared and is now ready. As for your Heirbas, don’t worry. You’ll take it with you. You’ll need to allow it to ferment for at least three months. After that, call some friends and enjoy the Heirbas; just like a Mallorca local.

Once done, we’ll take a bus to Sierra Tramuntana mountains; one of the scenic spots in the city. Here, you’ll meet Ramon- he’ll host you all through the learning process. Depending on the weather, you’ll either cook in his kitchen or his yard. Ramon will take you through the whole cooking process; you’ll learn the history and secrets behind the local cuisine! Interestingly, you’ll even have an opportunity of taking some snacks, local tapas and pair with beer or soft drink. Well, the aroma of the paella will definitely tell it all!
The best part will be to take the sumptuous paella we’ve prepared for lunch. Some local Mallorca wine will perfectly do. The traditional wine-making process in Crete has profound origins. From the early age of Minoans to the present day, vine-harvesting is an exceptional celebration. This tour is based on our childhood memories. We will bring you closer to the wine culture in Crete as you take part in the wine-making process using the traditional local method. The tour begins at our family vineyard as we harvest different varieties of the local grapes that include; ‘Romeiko,' ‘Vidiano,' ‘Vilana,' ‘Kotsifali’ and ‘Mantilari.' You will enjoy this special festival as we sing and dance original Cretan songs. Our voices echo through the White Mountains as the harvesting continues. Afterwards, we head to our home. It is a cultural Cretan house, built in the early 19th century. We will walk you through the secret rooms that presents Crete through the centuries and share with you the Cretan traditions as you enjoy the Cretan hospitality. With the treadle all set, the wine-making procedure starts, we smash the grape with our feet. The first grape juice appears as we smash harder and harder. When the smashing is over the grapes, remain in the juice for it to get the rose or mid red color. After all the hard work the feast begins, as we delight in traditional Cretan delicacies paired with fine wine.

Pursue us to the surprising expedition via the Cretan flavors and experience the real Cretan lifestyle. At the towering summit of the White Mountains, we team will cook for you some delicious traditional home-grown meals. Utilizing hale and hearty organic and bio Cretan ingredients such as fresh vegetables picked from our garden, local meat, extra-virgin olive oil, dairy products and the most sweet-smelling herbs.
You will get the opportunity to stroll in the region of our vegetable gardens to observe, feel, smell, taste and touch the real produce of mother nature. We will also disclose the secrets of local herbs, the way Cretan olive oil influences the people’s health and helpful tips about the local products that we use. We will organize a time-honored Cretan recipe with our own hands; be trained how we, Cretans, prepare food.
After our incredible cooking know-how, we will follow a trail into the mountain walking within the purely natural world. Exploring the region, we will see the traditional Cretan shepherds hut known as ”Mitato,” we will go into an olive field and perceive how we reap the olives and study more about the blooming vegetation and flowers. Going back to the house you will taste delicious Cretan wine together with local cheese and arrange some cocktail snacks like “Tzatziki” and “Ntakos.” The Mountain View is breathtaking from our window. We continue on to a Winery: You will share the passion for Cretan wine & you will discover all the winery. Day 3 Greek Cooking – MONDAY Santorini is renowned for its delectable Mediterranean cuisine, and today you will be taught to make some classic Greek dishes by an expert local chef. Enjoy some traditional Greek spirits including Ouzo, before lunch in a delicious nearby restaurant. The afternoon is yours to spend as you please, after the morning's cookery course, and we recommend some swimming in the red or black sea. Enjoy a fresh-cooked lunch at a traditional restaurant. Day 4 Countryside and Volcanoes – TUESDAY Today, we head out into Santorini's beautiful countryside to learn about how its mineral-rich volcanic soil is responsible for the unforgettable tastes of local wines such as Assyrtiko, Nykteri, and Vinsanto (famed for its sweetness). Day 6 Santorini Cooking – THURSDAY Unique Cooking! Santorini, like all of the Cycladic Islands, is a place where fava beans, tomatoes, olives, and other ripe and juicy foodstuffs grow in abundance - often with very little water. Today's cookery course will enable you to get to grips with some cherished local recipes. You will be cooking an authentic Santorini meal, which you can then enjoy with some delightful local wine. Dinner on your own. Night in your accommodation.
Day 7 Sunset Sailing and Hot Springs – FRIDAY Spend the main part of the day however you wish (perhaps by shopping for souvenirs), then let us whisk you away on a sunset sailing experience. Watch the sun break over the towering volcanoes and swim in a bubbling, restorative hot spring. Dinner included will be served on board. Night in your accommodation.
Day 8 Goodbye For Now – SATURDAY Today we will take you home. As Santorini is an island, your departure and transfer times will be dependent on local ferries. After breakfast, Private Transfer to the port/airport of Santorini.
Important!!! Santorini is an island, transfer times are dictated by the ferry schedule. You may travel by boat from Athens Port (Piraeus). It is a 6-8 hour journey. Please note that you must organize your arrival flights to be in Santorini on Saturday ( through a direct flight or a connection flight via Athens International Airport).
If you cannot keep flight times within these parameters, plan to spend extra time in Athens before and/or after your vacation.

We teach in a concentrated 2 to 3 hour workshop format that focuses on a hands-on learning experience. Our teaching style is casual while also presenting a wealth of information. It is designed to provide our students the confidence, knowledge, and experience needed to become proficient home brewers and cultivated beer drinkers. You will learn all the basics to get you up and running while brewing a batch of beer. You’ll learn about extract brewing, malts, grains, yeasts and how to avoid or troubleshoot the most common problems. All reference materials will be provided as well as a homebrew sample for tasting.
