Activity Overview
Enjoy the unforgettable scenery of Waiheke island and sample some of its exquisite wines with one of our luxurious tours. Take a scenic ferry to the island, then enjoy the explanations of a knowledgeable local guide as you explore Waiheke's renowned vineyards and wineries in a sumptuous 12 seater minibus. There are vineyards dotted all over Waiheke (which has earned it the name 'island of wine'), but particularly in the Western regions of the island. If you love the depth of Syrah and the body of Bordeaux, you will adore the Waiheke take on these classic varieties. Bordeaux style blends, Syrahs, and other varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris are just a few of the award winning wines that you can sample and learn about on our tours. If you like, you can stay in one of the island's vineyards itself, or you can sleep for the night in Oneora Village (home of the brilliant Aperitivo Wine Bar, where you can put your new found knowledge to the test). The village has a very convenient location, 1 mile from the ferry.

Spent a great Sunday in the company of 6 newly found friends visiting 4 wineries and enjoying really good tastings and a great lunch at Peacock Sky. The island is really lovely in itself, but experiencing the great wines as well made it a fantastic day. Dont forget to buy some wines to take away too !
