Activity Overview
Cataluyna has one of the highest concentration of Denominacio d'Origen wines in the world, with no less than 12 of its regional wines achieving the coveted 'DO' status. The Penedès Private Tour is an excellent way to get to know these exciting wines better, as it takes you right through the heart of Catalunya's wine growing country and into the biggest wine producing region of Catalunya. Alongside traditional Cava (of course, we couldn't omit this special favourite, which is grown and produced in the Penedès region itself!) you will discover some super local reds and plenty of bubbly too.

Your guide on this day long tour is second to none: a private sommelier who will impart some of their detailed and rich knowledge of the wines of Catalunya. The tour comprises an exclusive private visit to two renowned wine cellars, as well as a delicious lunch (which is, as you may have guessed) accompanied by the most delectable wines that the sunny Penedès region has to offer.
