Enjoy a scenic horseback ride through varied terrains such as vineyards, forests and over mountains in Franschhoek Valley - South Africa's Western Cape. Franschhoek is a great option for a day trip outside of Cape Town.

During this tour you ride in the most scenic area of the Western Cape on purebred Arabian Horses with guide Jolinda or Jonathan. The owner is Pieter, who was a South African National Team Endurance Rider (Springbok). Pieter's family has been in the Franschhoek Valley for five generations and is extremely knowledgable in regards to the area. 

During your horseback ride you will stop for wine tasting at Rickety Bridge Winery and Mont Rochelle's Wine Cellar. The wine tasting on horseback excursion is approxiametly 4 hours long (total riding time is around 2.5 hours, with 30-45 minute stops at each winery).
