Activity Overview
This afternoon trip begins when you are chauffeured from your hotel to the airport. A helicopter will then lift you off to a breathtaking alpine flight to the incredible mountain ranges where you will appreciate the beautiful view of the Wakatipu basin. The one-way flight will head towards the Gibbston valley that offers remarkable views of the region's vineyards and wineries. From here the trip continues on one of our vans. You will delight in a winery lunch then visit an underground wine cave and sample some wine as you learn about the Central Otago wine production and our exceptional wine. You will also enjoy hand-made art, taste some cheese and a have final wine tasting.

The trip offers a guided, tailored and Maori trail experience of the Gibbston wine district and Queenstown: We leave (Wanaka at 9:45 am), Queenstown around 11:00 am amid a 15-minute ... moredrive to Lake Hayes and Gibbston where a collection of Pinot Gris, Sav Blanc, Pinot Noir and much extra will be in savoring. The initial chateau being Akarua close to Arrow town, then we stopover the M.t Rosa vineyard, to tribute the good-looking wines in the stunning views. This is the place for a live staging of the Māori Dance known as the 'Haka' is carried over the Kawarau River. After that, we shift onto both Wet Jacket and Bald Hills for some sheep shaving (wink, wink) prior to a15 min drive back to the Queenstown.

You will take pleasure in savoring high-quality wines with real Maori civilization. For bookings of 2 or more a cheese platter is included.
