Activity Overview
Most wine lovers have taken part in cellar tours and traditional wine tastings, but how many have had the chance to spend a few hours in the vineyard with an agronomist learning how the perfect grape is cultivated? Our guests will be treated to the knowledge of our experts, while a whole section of our vineyards will be at their disposal for a hands-on experience in viticulture.

The topics that we will address are: how vines are trained and why we choose a particular method, the effects of different soil compositions, the forces of exposure and climate, the importance of non-irrigation (...yes, non-irrigation), various pruning systems and defoliation, and the correct timing of all processes. There is no need for any form of expertise, all are welcome to participate and ask questions. Those lucky enough to be present at harvest time will even get to participate in grape picking!

Of course, after your morning in the vineyard you will have most likely worked up an appetite, so it will be time to sit down for a special three-course Tuscan lunch in our villa. Each course of your meal will be accompanied by our highly rated Chianti Classico, Chianti Reserve, and Super Tuscan wines.

The second option of the tip entails one wine tasting accompanied by a visit to Chianti village to either Siena or San Gimignano. Afterwards, go for lunch at a classic Tuscan restaurant to enjoy a 3-course meal and continue exploring the town in the afternoon.
For a tour to a goats' cheese factory and tasting an extra 25 euros is required.
