Have you ever wanted to create your own wine? Well, now you have the chance! A 2 hour create your own wine workshop in the center of Paris. With the help of an expert winemaker, you’ll get to taste and pick the grape varieties you want in your wine, then blend, try, taste again, improve and ultimately create your very own wine.

Once you have created your own unique and personal wine it's time to create a label to showcase your wines style! With our easy to use system, it’s a piece of cake. And a fun one too. You’ll leave this wine workshop experience with a bit of a buzz and the ultimate keepsake from your trip to Paris - your own wine.

Join us as you learn the history and mysteries of the wine makers in this renowned world destination well known for its sparkly wine- champagne.

The day’s programme:
8:00 am: Hotel pick up in Paris

10:30 am: Visit to a champagne vineyard near Reims and meeting with the wine-grower
“Terroir”, is a French word that means “a sense of place.” Nowhere else could be better than in Champagne where the grapes are grown on land that features a unique quality. The Champagne grape is a product that is extracted from the soil but is also intimately dependent on the climate, vine and ultimately the human knowledge of the wine-grower. Your expert guide will teach you about the champagne soil, the vine yard, the vines and the work that is done throughout the year. Here you will learn the different steps of champagne-making, learn why the geographical situation of the region is essential and how the talent and personality of the professional wine-grower results in each unique vintage.
From classic notions about wine-tasting, you will be more particularly initiated to the techniques applied for champagne-tasting. You will have the possibility to buy some champagne at the producer’s rates.

12:30 pm: Lunch at a restaurant in Reims

2:00 pm: Guided visit to Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral
Reims Cathedral is the place where Clovis, the first Christian king of the Franks, was christened. It is also where the coronations of twenty five kings of France, from Louis VIII in 1223 to Charles X in 1825 were held. This 13th century gothic cathedral is an ancient religious jewel and a symbolic place for all European people. Enjoy yourself and appreciate the breathtaking front, lacy stonework, illuminated stained glass windows and be charmed by the celebrated “smiling angel” sculpture that welcomes you at the northern portico.

3.30 pm: visit to the underground chalk cellar of one of Reims'most famous Champagne houses
Houses are the first champagne representatives both in France and in the entire world. Nurture your knowledge about the history of champagne and how the most prestigious houses contributed throughout the ages to offer the exceptional quality of wines we enjoy today. You will be told about some of the traditional secrets of these famous vintners and thus, better understand the differences between the houses. You will taste a glass of Champagne at the end of the visit with guide comments.
